Action plan worth Rs 450 crore approved in DMF Governing Council meeting
Bijapur. In the Governing Council meeting of District Mineral Institute Trust (DMF) held on Friday in the presence of Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, an action plan worth more than Rs 450 crore was approved for various development works of the district.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the overall development of the district, expansion of basic facilities and effective implementation of public welfare schemes in rural areas. In the meeting, Collector and ex-officio Chairman of Governing Council Vishwadeep presented detailed information about the amount received by the district under DMF and its expenditure from the year 2016-17 till now. Despite the geographical challenges of Bijapur, he demonstrated the effective management of DMF funds and the remarkable work done through it through PPT and short film.
Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Namrata Choubey gave information about department-wise works, transparent use of DMF funds and proposed development works in various areas in the current session. Whereas Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav gave a presentation on important security related points. Governing Council members also informed about the needs and ground conditions of their respective areas.
