NEET-2026: Tight security arrangements across the country, more than 1.18 lakh candidates will take the exam in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal. The country’s biggest medical entrance examination NEET-2026 will be conducted on Sunday in the entire country including Madhya Pradesh. In the state, about one lakh 18 thousand candidates will appear for the examination at 283 examination centers in 30 districts.
Mobiles, Bluetooth, smart watches, earphones, cameras, belts, jewelery and other electronic devices will be completely banned at the examination centres.
Security arrangements were reviewed by conducting mock drills across the state on Saturday. Leaves of officers and employees engaged in examination duty have been cancelled, while relieving of officers transferred in many districts has also been stopped till the completion of the examination.
To make the security system impenetrable, this time the process of question paper distribution has been kept completely confidential. About an hour before the commencement of the examination, it will be decided from the control center located in Delhi from which strong room the question papers will be issued for which examination centre.
The question papers have been transported to Bhopal by a special Air Force aircraft. After this, he has been kept in the strong room under the surveillance of CRPF. Question papers will be delivered to the examination centers on the examination day with CRPF escort.
This time NTA has implemented technology based security system in the examination. The vehicles carrying question papers will have GPS tracking. Arrangements for CCTV cameras, metal detectors, jammers, official watches and Aadhaar based biometric verification have been made at all the centres.
There will be frisking before entry of every candidate. Additional biometric machines and additional staff have also been deployed. The examination centers will be monitored from the district control room and state level monitoring centre.
Special monitoring arrangements have been made in the State Cyber Headquarters to prevent paper leaks or rumours. 44 cyber commandos have been deployed to monitor social media platforms, messaging apps and online activities. Any suspicious activity will be immediately investigated and action taken.

NEET exam will be held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

Only admit card, identity card and transparent water bottle are allowed to be carried.
NTA has advised candidates wearing religious or traditional attire to arrive early due to additional scrutiny. Candidates have been advised to wear simple light colored clothes.
Wearing big buttons, thick clothes, clothes with many pockets, belts, watches, rings, chains, bracelets, bracelets, smart devices and other metal materials will not be allowed.

In view of the possible crowding at metro construction work and examination centers in the capital Bhopal, the traffic police has issued a special advisory. Candidates have been advised to leave home before the scheduled time and use alternative routes.
A special route plan has been prepared for Anand Nagar, Gautam Nagar and other major examination centres. There will also be control on vehicle parking around the examination centres.
For the convenience of students coming from outside districts, special help booths have been set up at Bhopal, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Guna and Ashoknagar railway stations. Information about examination centres, transport arrangements and guidance will be provided here.
For the first time, a special bus service has been started in Jabalpur to transport students to the examination centres. Shade, drinking water, coolers, fans and temporary canteen have been arranged for the parents.
In sensitive districts like Balaghat, question papers have already been transported through special helicopters of the Air Force. Joint deployment of CRPF and local police has been made from railway stations to examination centers in Ujjain, Gwalior, Indore and other cities.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has instructed the officials that the security and confidentiality of the examination should not be compromised at any level. He said that providing a fair, safe and stress-free environment to all the candidates is the top priority of the administration.
