Strong start in stock market, investors’ confidence maintained with rise in Sensex-Nifty
New Delhi. There is a strong trend in the domestic stock market during early trading today. Today’s trading also started with gains.
As soon as the market opened, due to selling in order to book profits, there was a slight decline in the movement of both Sensex and Nifty indices, but after some time buyers took charge.
Due to buying by buyers, the movement of both the indices started improving. After trading till 10 am, Sensex was trading with a strength of 0.52 percent and Nifty with a strength of 0.55 percent.
After the trading till 10 o’clock, among the big stocks of the stock market, the shares of Eternal, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corporation, NTPC and Nestle were trading with a strength of 2.22 percent to 1.03 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technology and HDFC Bank were seen trading with a weakness of 6.75 per cent to 2.41 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,783 shares in the stock market. Of these, 2,011 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 772 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 20 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 10 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 35 shares were seen trading in green mark and 15 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 77,160.67 points with a gain of 357.77 points. As soon as the trading started, due to selling in order to book profits, this index slipped to the level of 77,008.02 points.
After this, buyers started buying, due to which the movement of this index increased. In the first 10 minutes of trading itself, the Sensex jumped to the level of 77,249.27 points.
After this, due to selling pressure once again, there was a slight weakness in the movement of this index. After the trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, the Sensex was trading at the level of 77,201.71 points with a gain of 398.81 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty today jumped 93.50 points and started trading at 24,106.60 points. As soon as the market opened, a tussle started between buyers and sellers, due to which the movement of this index also started fluctuating.
Due to selling pressure, Nifty fell to the level of 24,073.15 points, while after getting buying support, it also jumped to 24,148.70 points.
After continuous buying and selling in the market till 10 am, Nifty was trading at the level of 24,145.30 points with a gain of 132.20 points.
Before this, on Friday, the last trading day of last week, the Sensex had closed at the level of 76,802.90 points with a weakness of 607.08 points or 0.78 percent.
At the same time, Nifty ended Friday’s trading at the level of 24,013.10 points with a decline of 154.90 points or 0.64 percent.
