Varanasi. Vishal Vishwakarma, who started his journey from District Rifle Club Varanasi, has achieved the distinction of becoming the first ISSF ‘B’ (Rifle/Pistol) certified judge of Banaras by successfully completing the ISSF ‘B’ Judges Course (Rifle/Pistol).
International Shooting Sports Federation gave certificate
International Shooting Sports Federation ISSF awarded Vishal Vishwakarma a Certificate of Proficiency in Rifle/Pistol in this Judges Course organized in New Delhi from 20 to 24 June 2026 under the aegis of National Rifle Association NRAI.
15 years journey, from Varanasi to Lucknow
Vishal told that he started shooting from Varanasi District Rifle Club about 15-16 years ago. He has reached this position today with the unwavering support of his family. Presently he is G.D. Working as Shooting Coach in Goenka School, Lucknow. He is also a life member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Technical Committee of Uttar Pradesh State Rifle Association.
Learned from world class gurus
In this course, he got training from world famous trainers like Paul Gaman Sir of Great Britain, Ghislain Braz Ma’am of France, Dheeraj Kumar Singh Sir of India and Arun Vereshi Sir.

Vishal gave the credit for his success to his parents, family members, teachers and friends. He also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of Uttar Pradesh State Rifle Association and National Rifle Association.
