Arvind Kejriwal reached Ayodhya, raised questions on alleged theft case related to Ram temple.
Warrior. Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal reached Ayodhya on Thursday, where he expressed deep concern over the alleged theft case related to Ram temple. He said that he is extremely distressed by the news of theft of jewellery, padukas and other valuable items offered to Lord Ram.
During the Ayodhya visit, Kejriwal said that he will first have darshan of Lord Ram and then give his detailed response on this entire matter. He alleged that the incident has hurt religious sentiments and an impartial investigation into the matter is necessary.
During this, he also raised questions on the functioning of the Special Investigation Team Uttar Pradesh (SIT) formed for the investigation. Kejriwal said that formation of SIT without registering FIR is not in accordance with the legal procedure. According to him, such investigation process raises questions on transparency.
He also alleged that only formality is being done in the name of investigation and efforts are being made to suppress serious cases or save big people. Kejriwal said that the public has the right to know the truth and this matter should be investigated with complete transparency.
Apart from this, he said that he does not yet have clear information regarding the investigation report or further action. He indicated that he would give a more detailed statement on the issue after visiting the temple.
It is noteworthy that political rhetoric is already going on regarding the case of alleged theft related to Ram Temple and leaders of different parties are giving different reactions on it. Questions are also being raised regarding the role and process of the investigating agencies.
