Army truck and ambulance collide in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, three dead, two serious

Sriganganagar (Rajasthan). There was a collision between an army truck and a private ambulance on National Highway-62 in Suratgarh area of ​​Sriganganagar district this morning. The ambulance was destroyed in the accident.

In the accident, three people traveling in the ambulance died on the spot, while two others were seriously injured. After the accident, there was chaos on the highway and traffic was affected for some time.

This accident happened near 22 LGW in Suratgarh Sadar police station area. Immediately after the accident, local people reached the spot and informed the police.

Sadar police station reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations with the help of local people. Both the seriously injured people were immediately rushed to the government hospital in Suratgarh.

According to preliminary information of the police, all three deceased are said to be residents of 5B Koni village of Hindumalkot police station area. According to Defense Public Relations Officer, Rajasthan, Lieutenant Colonel Nikhil Dhawan, at around 5:30 am, a civil ambulance, while overtaking a truck, collided with an Army ALS (Advanced Life Support) vehicle coming from the front near Kenchian town on the Suratgarh-Sriganganagar road.

Three civilians died in the accident, while the injured were provided immediate medical aid and taken to the hospital. He said that police is present at the spot and necessary legal action is being taken. The Indian Army has expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and said that it will extend full cooperation to the civil administration in the investigation.
