Agra. The famous Surendra murder case of Sikandra police station area of Agra district of Uttar Pradesh is becoming more sensational with new revelations every day. According to the facts revealed in the police investigation, this was not an impulsive step, rather the accused wife Ruby had allegedly planned and carried out this incident for several days. According to the police, she first fed sleeping pills to her husband, then after his death, buried the body in the bathroom of the house and got a new floor built above so that no one could have the slightest suspicion. However, the police has made it clear that the investigation of the case is still going on and the final conclusion will come only after scientific evidence and judicial process.
Ruby was upset with her husband’s habits, told the reason to the police
During interrogation, Ruby reportedly told that her husband Surendra had left his job as a delivery boy some time ago. After this he remained under the influence of alcohol most of the time. The wife used to manage the household expenses by doing sewing and embroidery, but Surendra used to ask for her earnings also for liquor. When he did not get the money, he used to beat and abuse. According to the police, Ruby also alleged that for some time, her husband’s behavior was not good even towards her daughters, due to which she was becoming mentally disturbed.
Alleged plan prepared after watching crime movies
According to the police, Ruby told during interrogation that she thought of the method of murder and hiding the body after watching crime-based movies and web series. He inspected the entire house beforehand and chose the bathroom to hide the body.

First brought debris, then dug pit
Investigation revealed that construction work was going on in the neighbourhood. Ruby got half a trolley of debris from there for four hundred rupees. The debris was kept outside the house so that no one could get suspicious. After this he prepared a pit by digging the bathroom floor with a shovel. According to the police, the body was dragged to the bathroom. After keeping it in the pit, salt kept in the house was also poured on it. Police believe that the accused might have done this in the hope that the body would decompose quickly. However, its scientific testing is yet to be done.
Bought cement, sand myself and called laborers
Investigation also revealed that the accused himself purchased cement, sand and other construction materials from the market. A laborer was called with the help of a neighbor. On May 19, two laborers came and prepared the new bathroom floor in about an hour. The total cost of which was Rs 500. The police interrogated both the laborers, but they were released as no evidence was found against them.

After meat, pudding… and then death
According to the police, Surendra had brought meat from the market on the night of the incident. He drank alcohol and ate food at home. After this, Ruby prepared kheer of his choice and allegedly mixed more than 20 sleeping pills in it and fed him. Late at night she checked her husband’s breathing and after confirming his death, she started working on the next plan.
First sent mother-in-law and daughters out of the house
According to the investigation, in the morning Ruby sent her mother-in-law and two daughters to her brother-in-law’s house saying that a call had been received from her maternal uncle from Bharatpur and there was talk of filing a complaint with the police. After they left, he disposed of the body. After this, she herself locked the house and went to her brother-in-law’s house and created a story that Surendra had gone somewhere due to fear of the police.

Missing person lodged, police also misled
To avoid any suspicion from the family, on May 26, Ruby along with her brother-in-law reached the police station and lodged a missing complaint of Surendra. When the police reached the house to search, she was seen crying. During this time no one doubted him.
Secret revealed by verification of old case
The matter came to light when the police reached Surendra’s house to verify an old truck theft case from 2017. Ruby became nervous during the interrogation. He felt that the police had discovered the truth. Finally he called his brother-in-law Anil and told him the whole incident. After this, the police dug up the bathroom floor and recovered the skeleton.

There was a dispute regarding pension money also
Investigation also revealed that Surendra’s mother used to get a pension of about Rs 32 thousand every month. The debit card and passbook remained with Ruby. In the month of June, he did not give the pension share to his brother-in-law and said that the money had not come into his account. Later, on getting information about the account, the family became suspicious and the dispute escalated.
Awaiting DNA and forensic report
Police have taken DNA sample of the recovered skeleton and sent it for forensic examination. Chargesheet will be filed after DNA matching. Police say that based on the evidence available at present, the accused has been sent to jail and the investigation of the case is going on from every aspect.
