Good news regarding Bihar Police recruitment, dream of becoming an officer will now be fulfilled.
Patna: There is good news for the youth preparing to become officers in Bihar Police. Bihar Police Sub-Service Commission (BPSSC) has announced new recruitment for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Sub-Inspector). A total of 150 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online from 9th July to 9th August.
Graduate pass candidates will get a chance
To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university. The prescribed educational qualification and age will be calculated on the basis of cut-off date decided by the Commission.
Age limit for different categories
The minimum age for recruitment has been kept at 20 years. The maximum age for male candidates of general category is 37 years, while for female candidates of general category is 40 years, for male and female candidates of Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) category is 40 years, for male and female candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category is 42 years.
Special provisions for ex-servicemen also
Ex-servicemen will also be given special relaxation related to age limit in the recruitment process. They will get additional age benefit as per rules, however, applications will be accepted only within the prescribed maximum limit.
The application process will be online
Applications for this recruitment will be accepted through online mode only. Candidates are advised to read all the information related to eligibility, reservation, selection process, exam pattern and required documents in the official notification thoroughly before applying, so that there is no problem at the time of application.
