Heavy entry of monsoon in Delhi-NCR, after today’s heavy rain, IMD issued yellow alert for the whole week.

The biggest news of relief has finally arrived for the residents of Delhi-NCR who are facing the scorching heat and humidity. After a long wait, the mood of Delhi changed completely today and dark clouds gathered and drenched many areas of the capital. Due to this heavy monsoon rain, not only has a huge drop in mercury been recorded, but the weather has also become very pleasant. Very beautiful pictures of rain along with cold winds are emerging from many areas of Delhi including Connaught Place, ITO, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram, which has doubled the fun of the weekend. Big prediction of the Meteorological Department, the rainy season is not going to stop for the next 7 days. According to the latest bulletin of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD Weather Update), this is just the beginning. Meteorologists have issued a yellow alert for the entire week for Delhi-NCR Monsoon. According to IMD, due to moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and an active weather system, intermittent moderate to heavy rains will continue over Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad for the next six to seven days. During this period, there may be a significant drop in temperature by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius, due to which people will get complete relief from the humid heat. The mood of the weather changed over the weekend, but office goers may face problems. The heavy rain that started suddenly today has given people an opportunity to come out of their homes and enjoy the pleasant weather on the holiday, while the administration has also expressed concern about waterlogging in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has warned that due to heavy rains during the working week starting from Monday, situations like traffic jams and waterlogging may arise on the major roads of Delhi. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Public Works Department (PWD) have been put on high alert to ensure that water does not accumulate on the roads. If you are also planning to go out of the house this week, then go out only after seeing the traffic advisory.
