Ram Mandir Donation: A new twist in the investigation regarding Ramlala’s offering, now such a suspicion has come to light which has increased the stir.
As the investigation into the alleged irregularities related to Ram Lalla’s offering in Ayodhya (Ram Mandir Donation) is progressing, new questions are also emerging. Amidst the continuous action of the investigating agencies, the stir regarding the temple complex and the records related to it has intensified. Considering the seriousness of the matter, every new fact is being investigated closely.
Meanwhile, a new apprehension related to the investigation has made the entire matter more sensitive. The attention of the authorities is now focused on the valuable jewelery which has not been traced till now. On this basis, the scope of investigation has been further expanded.
Suspicion of making gold biscuits by melting jewelery Ram Mandir Donation
The Special Investigation Team investigating suspects that the allegedly stolen precious jewelery may have been melted and converted into gold biscuits to hide their identity. This suspicion has deepened as the relevant jewelery has not been recovered in the raids conducted so far. The investigating officers are also probing the possibility that this may have been done with the aim of destroying evidence and making the gold easier to dispose of.
Intensive investigation of jewelery and records is being done
After having darshan of Ramlala, the investigation team took detailed information from the temple management regarding the jewellery, valuable items found in offerings and the arrangements for their maintenance. Besides, records related to jewelery and documents related to transactions with Mint, a Government of India undertaking, have also been sought. Apart from this, the complete records of metals sent to banks and mints have also been included in the scope of investigation.
The functioning of the trust is also under investigation
During the investigation, information also came to light that details of cash donations and income were kept in the regular meetings of the Trust, but the detailed description of the quantity, valuation and available stock of gold, silver and other valuable offerings was not part of the regular agenda. The investigating agencies are now trying to find out whether this flaw in the system was taken advantage of.
Gold and silver records will be matched
In the first phase, 9.44 quintals of silver received as offerings was sent to the Mint Institution of the Government of India (Ram Mandir Donation) for examination and purity testing. Earlier, it was also publicly stated by the temple management that the temple had received about 13 quintals of silver and 20 kg of gold as donations. Now the investigation team is busy matching the available records, mint documents and actual stock to find out whether there was any irregularities at any level.
Major changes made in security system
Following the case, a new system has been implemented to make the donation counting process more secure and transparent. Now counting hall There will be a two-stage security check of the employees before entering the (Ram Mandir Donation). Also, it has been made mandatory for the employees to wear special dress without pockets and the counting of offerings will now be done sitting on the ground, so that the entire process can be better monitored.
