Legal action will be taken against those spreading misleading information regarding PGT, TET and other examinations: Dr. Prashant Kumar

Lucknow. Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj, has alerted the candidates by taking a strong stance on the misleading information being spread regarding PGT, TET and other examinations.

Dr. Prashant Kumar said on Tuesday that it has come to the notice of the Commission that some people are instigating and misleading the candidates to come to the Commission office and submit applications regarding OMR sheet, answer key, cutoff, marks obtained in relation to PGT, TET and other examinations. Besides, unverified information related to preparation of fake records and money transactions is also being disseminated through AI.

The Commission Chairman clarified that the results of the PGT exam have already been declared. The marks of all the candidates and the written examination marks, interview marks and final marks of the selected candidates have been displayed separately on the website by the Commission.

Dr. Prashant Kumar has appealed to the candidates not to believe such misleading and baseless information. Only the advertisements and information published on the official website of the Commission should be considered authentic. He warned that strict legal action will be taken as per rules against those spreading false and misleading information, misleading candidates and trying to extort illegal money.

The Commission has asked the candidates not to visit the Commission office for any information or get misled by the brokers. All information is available on the Commission’s website www.upessc.gov.in.
