New Delhi. The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Monday warned that it will launch the agitation again if the police action against the protesters is not stopped and the arrested students are not given relief.
Party spokesperson Saurav Das alleged that the government has broken the agreement. Hundreds of students have been arrested and implicated in false cases in Bihar and West Bengal.
Advocate Kapil Sibal along with CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka, Saurav Das were also present in this press conference held in Delhi. He said- My role is to help in the legal issues of this party.
CJP said that we have launched a portal through which the affected students can share their problems. They can also share case information and videos.
Students are being arrested in the states
Earlier in the day, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das had written on Twitter on Monday that students and protesters were being detained and action was being taken against them in Assam, West Bengal and Bihar.
The party says that it had postponed the nationwide agitation on the assurance of the central government that no punitive action would be taken against any protestor.
On this platform, protesters participating in the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march on July 20 will be able to safely upload photos and videos related to police action. A detailed guide for its use has also been made available on the website.
Saurav Das appealed to the protesters to upload all the photos and videos related to the alleged police violence that took place during and after the July 20 protest on this platform.
Police and RAF personnel who caused serious injury, broke arms and legs, fired pellet guns or committed any other alleged excess will be identified.
Sonam Wangchuk was discharged from the hospital on Monday. After this he will leave for Ladakh. Before that he went to Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Wangchuk ended his 26-day fast late on Friday night.
Wangchuk said – follow the path of non-violence, solution will definitely be found.
Wangchuk said- For the last five-six years, we have been adopting Gandhiji’s non-violent method in Ladakh and we found it very effective. However, I doubted whether this approach would also work at the national level. But this movement further strengthened my belief that Gandhiji’s path is equally effective in the entire country even today and will remain so for many years to come.
