Complaint lodged in Thakurpukur police station
The Ganguly family has lodged a complaint regarding this matter at Thakurpukur police station in Kolkata. Along with this, the security department of the state government has also been informed and has been asked to take immediate action. Initial investigation has revealed that this letter was sent to Ganguly’s office through courier. The sender’s name was written on the envelope as ‘Arun Kumar’. When the police involved in the investigation investigated the phone number given in the letter, the same number appeared on the Truecaller in the name of Arun Kumar.

Now West Bengal Police is investigating whether these letters have really been sent by a person named Arun Kumar or someone has tried to scare Sourav Ganguly by using his name. Police officials say that they are thoroughly investigating the matter and all necessary steps are being taken for the safety of the Ganguly family.
