Hormuz: US President Donald Trump has now threatened Oman. Trump has said that if Oman dares to create any obstruction in the Strait of Hormuz between Iran and America, then American forces will launch a massive attack on Oman. Actually, Iran and Oman are talking about the movement of ships from Hormuz. An agreement has also been reached between the two countries to prepare a map of the shipping route for the Strait of Hormuz. Now Donald Trump is furious about this matter. Trump wants America to have control over Hormuz. Iran should find a way out with America, but Trump’s plan is in danger due to the talks between Iran and Oman, that is why today Trump tried to threaten Oman.
Threatened to bomb Oman
In fact, when asked about parallel talks between Iran and Oman over control of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, “If Oman comes in the way, we will bomb them heavily.” The US President further indicated that despite Tehran’s public statements, the US naval blockade is placing new economic pressure on the Iranian government. He said Iranians are “good poker players” but they are “getting ruined”. He also said that the US midterm elections to be held in November have nothing to do with his thinking.
America has a large number of weapons
Trump also talked about the low US arms stockpile in the Middle East, saying, “What we have used so far is very modest.” He said the US has a large number of medium-level weapons, while many more advanced systems were given to Ukraine by former President Joe Biden, including air defense systems vital to the region. Trump’s comments come at a time when Tehran and Muscat are negotiating to create a system for safe commercial navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. The two countries had finalized a joint shipping route map for the maritime corridor after weeks of technical talks.
Ceasefire with Iran ending
