Bihar Public Service Commission: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the online application process for TRE-4.0 teacher recruitment examination. Through this recruitment, 32,386 vacant teacher posts of various schools are to be filled in the Education Department. The application process for this was to start from September 1, which has now been postponed. The Commission has clarified that it has been postponed due to some necessary procedural changes.

New dates for application for recruitment will be announced soon. According to the earlier released advertisement (No. 14/2026), applications were to be filled from September 1 to September 30, 2026.
BPSC issued notification

BPSC has issued a notification saying that “The prescribed process of applying online for appointment to a total of 32,388 vacant posts of school teachers under the Education Department, Bihar under Advertisement No. 14/2026, Fourth Phase School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4.0), which is proposed from 01.09.2026, is postponed due to procedural change. The date related to the said advertisement will be announced soon.”

How much salary will you get?
Initial salary for school teacher from class 1 to 5 – 25 thousand per month and other allowances prescribed by the state government.
Initial salary for school teacher of class 6 to 8 – 28 thousand per month and other allowances prescribed by the state government.
Pay scale for school teacher from class 9 to 10 – Basic salary 31 thousand per month and other allowances payable
Pay scale for school teacher from class 11 to 12 – Basic salary 32 thousand per month and other allowances payable
