The water level of Ganga and Yamuna rivers in the world famous Prayagraj district is currently in normal condition. A decline in the water level of the river has been recorded in the last 24 hours. There has been no rain anywhere in the district. All dams and embankments are safe.
The water level of Yamuna river at Naini was recorded at 81.95 meters, which has decreased by 11 centimeters in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the water level of Ganga river in Phaphamau was 82.26 meters, in which a fall of 46 centimeters was recorded. The water level of Ganga in Chhatnag was 81.42 meters and there has been a decrease of 17 centimeters. The water level at STP Baksi Dam was recorded at 82.07 meters, which has decreased by seven centimeters.
Flood control room in-charge Nikhil Prasad said that at present there is no flood like situation in the district. The water level of rivers is being continuously monitored. All dams and embankments are safe and the situation is completely under control.
