New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha spoke on digital access and rights in the digital age at the 12th edition of ‘Inter-Parliamentary Union Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians’ held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
“I spoke on ‘Digital Access and Rights in the Digital Age’ at the 12th IPU Conference in Uzbekistan. With over a billion people connected and instant payments through UPI (Unified Payments Interface) becoming a part of everyday life, India has shown that digital scale and inclusion can go hand in hand,” Raghav Chadha told XPost on Sunday.
Raghav Chadha further said, “I emphasized how technology is expanding reach and creating a future that connects everyone, innovates without exploiting and protects without controlling. The real test of this era is not how smart our machines become. The real test is whether the person with the cheapest phone in the poorest district gets the same access, security and opportunities as everyone else.”
Earlier on Saturday, Raghav Chadha had written on Discussed the growing relations. He spoke very warmly about the recent successful visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Uzbekistan. We look forward to welcoming him to India.”

India is the world’s largest democracy and its population is also very young. Our Parliament has much to share and learn on all these issues. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi has just completed his successful visit to Uzbekistan, it is a privilege for our delegation to play a small role in carrying forward that momentum on the parliamentary side of our partnership.”
