Swine flu (H1N1) cases are continuously increasing in Chhattisgarh. According to the data of the Health Department, 16 new patients of swine flu have been confirmed in the state on Monday. Of these, maximum 8 patients have emerged from Raipur.
Apart from this, 3 patients have been found in Bilaspur, 4 in Korba and 1 in Raigarh. With the new cases, the number of patients infected with swine flu in the state has increased to 251 since January 2026.
According to the data of the Health Department, the highest number of swine flu cases in the state so far have been reported in Raipur district. A total of 108 patients have been confirmed here. After the new cases, the Health Department has increased vigilance regarding monitoring and treatment arrangements.
At present 89 swine flu patients are active in the state. Of these, 22 patients are being treated in home isolation, while 67 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
It is a matter of relief that since January till now, not a single patient has died due to swine flu in the state. The health department is continuously monitoring the infected patients and keeping an eye on the treatment and necessary arrangements in the hospitals.
