Excitement about PM Modi visit in Vadodara

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Vadodara in Gujarat on Tuesday, where he will lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs 35,000 crore, inaugurate them and dedicate them to the nation. Before the arrival of the PM, the entire city is seen decorated and tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the people especially in Gen-ji regarding his visit.

A large number of people have gathered to attend the Prime Minister’s program. IANS spoke to some of the people who attended the event, who expressed their happiness and expectations. “It is our good fortune that they are coming to Vadodara after such a long time. I would like them to interact with us once, visit our college pavilion and also interact with our faculty. We hope that they will continue to speak for Gen-Ji as they often interact with the youth,” said a student.

Another student, who is going to perform dance in front of the Prime Minister, said, “We are going to meet Modi sir. We are feeling very happy and proud that we will get a chance to dance in front of him. It is a matter of pride for us. The most important thing is that we will get a chance to meet the Prime Minister.” A student expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for improving the education system and said, “If we get a chance to meet PM Modi, it will be a great privilege. Because of him, there has been a lot of improvement in the education system.” There has been improvement.”

Another person said, “There is a lot of excitement. A huge crowd has gathered here to see Narendra Modi. When we meet him, we would like to tell him that he has done a lot for us. The Prime Minister has paid close attention to our economic growth, he travels to different places, meets people and represents India, which is really great for us.”

A small girl said, “I have never seen him in person, only on television. I am very excited.” BJP MP from Vadodara Hemang Joshi expressed happiness over the visit. He said, “Today is a very happy day for us because the wonderful Prime Minister of our country, Honorable Narendra Modi is coming to Vadodara to give many gifts related to development. The program organized today is truly unprecedented.”

The projects that will be inaugurated and laid the foundation stone by the Prime Minister include three major sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, covering a distance of 326 kilometers and developed at a cost of over Rs 20,700 crore. These include New Sanand (North)-New Makarpura, New Umbergaon-New Saphale and New Saphale-New JNPT sections. These corridors will significantly increase logistics capacity and accelerate industrial development.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Vadodara, which is expected to be attended by a large number of people. Tight security arrangements have been made across the city and the venue has been attractively decorated. After his Vadodara event, at around 5.45 pm, Prime Minister Modi will leave for Mumbai, where he will inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 and address the gathering.
