Islamabad: The way Houthi rebels are continuously attacking Saudi Arabia. Till yesterday, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif was saying that Pakistan has made Mecca Pact with Saudi, but Pakistan will not deploy its army in such mutual conflicts. But today Pakistan’s army announced to support Saudi till its last breath. Pakistan’s DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that if Mecca is attacked, Pakistan will openly support Saudi Arabia in this war. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that the security of the holy place Mecca is the responsibility of every Muslim. This has nothing to do with the Mecca Pact. Now there is pressure on Pakistan to support Saudi, that is why today Pakistan again turned around.
Pakistan will maintain friendship
Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said, Pakistan completely stands with Saudi Arabia and will help Saudi in every way. He said that Pakistan is ready to go to any extent for the security of the holiest place of Muslims and Saudi Arabia. Pakistan is ready to provide whatever help the people of Saudi Arabia ask from Pakistan. It is very clear that the people of Pakistan are standing shoulder to shoulder with their brothers in Saudi Arabia. No one should have any doubt on this.
Why did Pakistan retaliate?
Shahbaz Sharif’s government and Pakistan’s army did not turn the tables on Saudi Arabia just like that. In fact ever since Khawaja Asif refused to send Pakistani army to help Saudi Arabia. Since then, opposition parties of Pakistan have started protests against it all over the country and big rallies are being held. It is being alleged that the most sacred place of Muslims has been attacked. It is the duty of every Muslim to respond to such attacks and join Jihad.
The protesters said that at such a time, the government of Pakistan is turning its back on its duty and is afraid of protecting Islam. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Chief Fazlur Rehman is holding big rallies all over Pakistan. Before this announcement by Pakistan Army, Fazlur Rehman had said in a big rally that if Pakistan Army retreats then every child of Pakistan is ready for Jihad in Saudi.

Under pressure, Shahbaz Sharif’s government announced military help to Saudi Arabia. It was claimed that now there is no peace for the Houthis, now Pakistan will enter the war. There was an uproar in the whole of Pakistan and the drums of war started beating. But amid this noise, Shahbaz Sharif quietly left for London. Shahbaz Sharif will stay in London for three days. From there he will go to America and the interesting thing is why Shahbaz Sharif has gone to London. The government has not even informed anyone about what work he has to do and whom he will meet.
Why did America turn its back on Saudi?
