In the previous week, foreign exchange reserves had decreased by $ 14.88 billion to $ 765.90 billion. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given this information on Friday.

In the data released by RBI, foreign currency assets, a major component of foreign exchange reserves, declined by $ 15.57 billion to $ 615.41 billion in the week ending September 25. RBI said that the value of gold reserves during this period was also 2.59 billion dollars.

Decreased to $108.70 billion. According to Reserve Bank data, Special Drawing Rights (SDR) declined by $97 million to $18.64 billion.

At the same time, India’s reserve position with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decreased by $ 86 million to $ 4.80 billion.

It is noteworthy that foreign exchange reserves had reached an all-time high of $ 785.71 billion in the week ending September 4.
