Moradabad. There was a huge uproar in Gram Panchayat Madanapur of Mudhapande block of Moradabad district after the BJP booth president was accused of extortion in the name of Chief Minister’s Collective Scheme (Marriage Grant).
The leaders present intervened but the complainant remained adamant on his point. On the other hand, BJP District President Akash Pal has denied knowledge of such a case.
While listening to the complaints in the village Chaupal, Mohammad Rafi and Horam Singh, in front of the officials and BJP leaders, accused the booth president of taking a bribe of Rs 1500 in the name of the form for the mass marriage scheme. Meanwhile the commotion started.
The complainant even said that the Madnapur booth president of BJP asked us to pay fifteen hundred rupees to fill the form of the Chief Minister’s Group Marriage Scheme so that our name can be included in the Chief Minister’s Group Marriage Scheme. On this, BJP leaders tried to convince but Rafi said to get our money returned.
Whereas BJP District President Akash Pal said that the case is not in my knowledge. Nothing can be said until the veracity of the allegation is proven. I will let you know what the matter is. I will say something only after this.
