Bhopal. Karmayogi Bharat is organizing a special online session today (Wednesday) on the topic of ‘Seva Bhava’ with the aim of further strengthening the citizen-centric governance system. The session was conducted by NITI Aayog member Dr. R. Balasubramaniam will do.
Giving information, Public Relations Officer Rajesh Bain said that in the session, strengthening of sensitivity, accountability and citizen-centric approach among government servants along with developing the spirit of ‘service’ in public service delivery will be specifically discussed.
He said that the General Administration Department has issued instructions in this regard to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and Collectors of the state and asked them to encourage the subordinate officers and employees to participate in the online session.
The session will be held from 11 am to 12 noon
According to the Public Relations Officer, the special online session will be held from 11 am to 12 noon. The live telecast will be done through iGot Karmayogi platform.
With this, along with the ministries and departments of the Central Government, government officers and employees of the States and Union Territories will also be able to participate in the online session. The link of the session will be made available in the Events section of the iGoat Karmayogi platform.
Participating officers and employees will get special credit
To encourage the participation of officers and employees and their active learning, special credits will be provided under ‘Service Orientation’ competency to all the users attending the session through iGot Karmayogi platform from 11 am to 12 noon.
Emphasis on keeping citizens at the center of governance
According to the Public Relations Officer, citizen centricity has been included as a major theme in Mission Karmayogi.
The objective is to create a professional, competent and accountable civil service that puts citizens at the center of governance and public service delivery.
Various courses related to citizen centricity and service orientation are also available on the iGoat Karmayogi platform which have been completed by a large number of government employees.
Through the special session, emphasis will be laid on strengthening empathy, accountability and citizen-centric approach among government servants and imbibing the spirit of ‘service’ in public service delivery.
Karmayogi Bharat has urged to ensure maximum participation of officers and employees at all levels so that the shared working culture of service, sensitivity and citizen-centric administration can be strengthened at all levels of governance.
