Emotional relationship between Ram and Dashrath shown in the new posters of 'Ramayana'

Mumbai The curiosity of the audience about director Nitesh Tiwari's film 'Ramayana' is continuously increasing. The makers of the film have now released new posters featuring Arun Govil as King Dasharatha and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram.

These posters show a glimpse of the emotional relationship between father and son. In one poster, King Dasharatha is seen blessing Ram, while in the other, Ram is seen performing the ritual of immersing the bones in the river. Both the scenes bring out emotional moments from the life of Ram.

In the first poster, Ram is seen sitting on his knees and taking blessings from King Dasharatha. This scene shows the love and trust between father and son as well as the importance of duty and promise.

In the second poster, Ram is seen standing in the river water and immersing the bones. This emotional moment, shot amidst natural scenes, hints at the difficult phase to come in his life.

The makers wrote with the posters that the father was bound by promise and the son by duty, but both of them did not know that this farewell would be their last farewell.

Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios has produced the film in association with DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations.

Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Sita, Yash Ravana, Sunny Deol Hanuman and Ravi Dubey Laxman in the film. The first part of 'Ramayana', which is being made in two parts, will be released in theaters across the world in Diwali 2026 and the second part in Diwali 2027.

The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. It will also be screened in IMAX format.
