Kota/Mumbai. Rajasthan Police arrested three accused from Kota railway station on Monday morning in the case of firing on actor Tiger Shroff’s car. According to the police, the three accused were planning to go to Jaipur by Pune-Jaipur Express. After this, he intended to escape to Nepal via Delhi by bus, but the police foiled his plan.
Kota SP Tejaswini Gautam said that after receiving information from Mumbai Police, Kota Police took swift action. The police team searched the train and caught the three suspects within just 15 minutes. Among the arrested accused, two are said to be residents of Haryana and one from Bihar.
According to preliminary information, it has come to light that the contract for this attack was given by Anil Pandit, associated with the Lawrence Gang. Police are interrogating the role of the accused in the case and the conspiracy behind the attack.
Tiger Shroff was not shot in the firing incident, although his left hand was injured by gunpowder and glass fragments. Information about their driver also getting injured during the incident has come to light.
CM Fadnavis confirmed the action of Rajasthan Police
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that with the help of Rajasthan Police, the accused involved in the attack has been arrested. According to him, after the incident, the accused fled towards Surat and then started traveling by Pune-Jaipur train. As soon as information about his activities was received, Mumbai Police coordinated with Rajasthan Police and took action.
CM said that after the necessary legal process is completed, Mumbai Police will come to Mumbai with the accused in its custody. There he will be interrogated in detail. The police are also searching for other associates involved in the attack and people involved in the conspiracy. He made it clear that strict action will be taken against the culprits in the case.
Inquiry will be held in Mumbai
According to the information, Kota Police was going to hold a press conference in this matter at 1 pm on Monday. After this, Mumbai Crime Branch will complete the process of taking the arrested accused into its custody and taking them to Mumbai. At present the team of Mumbai Crime Branch is present in Kota.
The police is now interrogating the accused and trying to find out the entire conspiracy behind the firing, the alleged contract and the involvement of other people. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
