Patna. The Home Department of Bihar Government has issued orders related to posting and transfer of police officers. Under the notification issued by the Home Department on Thursday, a total of 57 officers of the Indian Police Service and Bihar Police Service have been given new responsibilities. These include Superintendent of Police (SP), Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) level officers. Many officers have been posted in Police Headquarters, Crime Research Department, Surveillance Investigation Bureau, Railway Police and Bihar Police Academy. There are many IPS officers also in it.
According to the notification, Aparajeet, posted as Commander in Bihar Special Armed Police-16, Patna, has been given the additional charge of Superintendent of Police (Law and Order), Bihar, Patna. Mukul Kumar Ranjan of Vaishali has been transferred from Superintendent of Police (Law and Order), Bihar, Patna, to Superintendent of Police, Rural, Samastipur. Alok Ranjan of Gayaji, who was waiting for posting at Police Headquarters, has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police, Rural, Bhagalpur. Rashmi of Bhagalpur has been made Additional Superintendent of Police, Madhubani, Additional Superintendent of Police, Railways, Patna. Ajay Prasad of Sherghati has been given the responsibility of Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Crime) in the Crime Investigation Department from Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir.
Roshan Kumar Gupta of East Champaran has been removed from waiting post at Police Headquarters as DSP, Cyber Crime, Aurangabad, while Ankur Kumar of Patna has been appointed as DSP, Railway Police, Patna from Police Headquarters. Kanchan Raj of Patna has been made DSP (Special Crimes) in Crime Investigation Department from Railway Police. Similarly, Arun Kumar of Nalanda has got the responsibility of DSP in Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau, Patna, while Shaligram Kumar of Jehanabad has been made DSP in Surveillance Investigation Bureau.
Apart from this, Bhavesh Kumar Mandal has been made the DSP of Economic Offenses Unit, Patna and Jitendra Kumar Singh has been made the DSP of Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir. Vijay Kumar has also been posted in Bihar Police Academy, while Santosh Kumar Singh of Bhojpur has got the responsibility of B-SAP-16, Patna and Baijnath Kumar has got the responsibility of B-SAP-12, Bhimnagar, Supaul. Similarly, Vishwaranjan Singh and Jaikant Sao have been made DSP in Bihar Police Headquarters, Patna. Shashi Bhushan Choudhary has been posted as DSP in Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau. Dhananjay Kumar of Gayaji has also got a new responsibility in Bihar Police Headquarters.
Vimal Kumar of Jehanabad has been made DSP of B-SAP-14, Patna and Umashankar Rai of Katihar has been made DSP of B-SAP-7, Katihar. Arvind Kumar of Nalanda has been given the responsibility of DSP (Special Crime) in the Criminal Investigation Department. Ajay Kumar of Patna has been posted as DSP in Bihar Police Headquarters and Ajit Kumar of Patna has been posted as DSP, Special Branch, Bihar, Patna. In this notification of the Home Department, names of many more officers are listed whose responsibilities have been changed in the police headquarters and officers in various districts and special units.
