Despite it being the last week of October in Rajasthan, different colors of weather are being seen.
At some places the effect of heat continues during the day, while at some places rain and hailstorm caused by western disturbance has added coolness to the weather. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of storm and rain in seven districts of the state on Saturday.
At the same time, the minimum night temperature in the mountain tourist destination Mount Abu has fallen to 12.8 degrees Celsius, which was measured below 13 degrees for the first time this season.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm in Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar and Bharatpur districts on Saturday.
Due to the influence of western disturbance, the weather changed in many parts of the state on Friday. In the afternoon, light to moderate rain was recorded in many districts including Dausa, Sikar, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh.
There was rain and hailstorm along with thunderstorm in Alwar, while hailstorm was also reported in some areas of Kotputli-Behror district.
Day temperature has dropped due to rain in many districts of the state. On Friday, the maximum temperature was measured below 35 degrees Celsius in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, Phalodi, Sikar, Alwar, Bhilwara and Chittorgarh.
However, the effect of heat still persists in western Rajasthan. With the maximum temperature in Barmer being around 39 degrees Celsius, it was among the hottest areas of the state. The effect of cold has started increasing at night in the southern part of the state.
On Friday, the minimum temperature was measured at 14.9 degrees Celsius in Udaipur and 15.8 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara. After recent rains and hailstorm in Chittorgarh and Rajsamand region, nights have started becoming relatively cooler.
On the other hand, the temperature in Mount Abu is continuously going down. The minimum temperature measured here on Friday night was 12.8 degrees Celsius. With this drop in temperature, the feeling of cold has started increasing in the hilly areas.
According to the forecast of Meteorological Center, Jaipur, due to the influence of western disturbance, storm and rain activities may be seen in the areas of Bikaner and Jaipur divisions on Saturday.
After this, there is a possibility of change in the weather of the state again from October 25. With rain activities weakening, the weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of the state.
