There is a stir in the White House due to the rise of Democrats, Trump administration warned

New York/Washington (USA). Hakeem Jefferies, leader of the Democratic minority in the US House of Representatives, has declared ‘America’s victory’.

He said that the projections after the elections show that the Democrats will take control of the lower house of Congress.

Amid reports of Democrats taking control of the House, the White House said that if this happens, voters who voted for the Democrats will regret it.

Jefferies said on X, “America wins!” According to projections by analytical service ‘Decision Desk HQ’ and broadcasters CNN and NBC, Democrats will take control of the US House of Representatives based on the results of the congressional elections.

At present, the Republican Party has a slight majority in both the houses. Republicans have 218 seats in the House of Representatives, while Democrats have 214 seats. Whereas in the Senate, Republicans have 53 seats and Democrats have 47 seats.

Meanwhile, the White House said that Americans who voted for Democrats will regret their decision.

This will happen when the ongoing dispute with Iran is resolved and petrol prices will come down, but he will still be left with a list of staunch liberal Democrats.

An administration official said, “Those who voted for the Democrats today will regret it later. When gasoline prices fall sharply after the Iran dispute is resolved, then they will realize that they are stuck with the hard-line liberal Democrats.”

This comment comes amid the prediction by American analyst firm ‘Decision Desk HQ’ that the Democrats will take control of the US House of Representatives.

Midterm congressional elections were held in the United States on November 3, in which Americans voted for all 435 members of the House of Representatives and 35 senators.

Meanwhile, a representative of President Donald Trump’s administration has indicated that the White House’s stance remains firm (i.e. not accepting defeat) even after the initial results of the US Congressional elections.

Earlier on Wednesday, American analyst service ‘Decision Desk HQ’ had said that according to preliminary data, there is an 84% possibility that the control of the US House of Representatives will go from the hands of Republicans to the Democrats.

“The White House’s position remains steadfast,” the official said in response to a question from the agency about the atmosphere inside the White House amid expectations of a Democratic victory.
