Arvind Kejriwal on theft of Offerings at Ram Temple: There is an uproar in the entire country regarding theft of donations and offerings in Ayodhya Ram Temple of Uttar Pradesh. Opposition parties are targeting the Yogi government regarding this. Now Aam Aadmi Party i.e. AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal is furious over theft of offerings in Ram temple. Arvind Kejriwal raised questions over the absence of an FIR and claimed that names of big people are involved in this scam. He said that if action is taken, the Yogi government will fall. Therefore the government is protecting the accused.

The former CM of Delhi said that ‘Ram Temple is the center of faith of crores of Hindus. Donations worth crores of rupees were stolen from the same Ram temple, yet not a single FIR was registered. Who is the government saving? People involved in this sin, no matter how big they are, should be thrown straight into jail. It is important to protect the faith of crores of people. The AAP leader said that it is being told that cash worth around Rs 200 crore has been stolen. Several boxes of diamonds and jewelery were also stolen. He said that they have governments both at the Center and in the state. Neither any raid took place nor anyone was arrested.

‘Very big names are involved in the scam’

AAP’s national coordinator further said that very big names are involved in this theft scam. If action is taken in such a situation, the Yogi government may also fall. He asked the public that according to you, who needs to be saved, the government or the faith of crores of people of the country. AAP has said that immediate action should be taken against those who are playing with the faith of crores of Hindus.

Allegation of theft of Rs 5 to 7.5 crores

Let us tell you that Pawan Pandey, who was a minister in the SP government, had claimed on June 7 that Rs 5 to 7.5 crore had been stolen from the Ram temple. After this, Akhilesh Yadav had also said that the government’s silence on the matter is suspicious. The court should look into the matter. When the controversy escalated, BJP leader Dr. Rajneesh Singh wrote a letter to the Prime Minister on June 9 demanding a CBI investigation. The next day i.e. on June 10, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) sought a report on the matter from the temple trust. In the offering theft case, recovery of Rs 2 crore has been made so far on the involvement of 5 people, Luvkush, Avneesh, Anukalp, Karune and Ramshankar alias Tinnu. All of them were involved in the duty of counting donations in the temple. Gold was found on June 13 from the house of Temple Trust employee Tinnu. However, the amount of gold is not confirmed yet.

SIT is investigating, investigation report will be submitted to CM Yogi on Monday

At present the entire matter is being investigated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). The names of 150 suspects have emerged in the investigation. Of these, action is likely to be taken against 25 people. Those who have been interrogated by the SIT have been warned not to go out anywhere till further orders. The investigation report will be submitted to CM Yogi on Monday. Action against Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra is considered almost certain. Both can be removed from the post.
