Ashok Gehlot angry at Sachin Pilot being called a ‘cheater’
The rhetoric has once again intensified in the politics of Rajasthan. BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, while questioning the loyalty of Congress leader and Tonk MLA Sachin Pilot, taunted that he has one foot in Congress and the other somewhere else. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot immediately hit back at this statement.
Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot clearly said that Sachin Pilot is completely with Congress and will remain in the party in future also. He also said that the pilot has learned from his past mistakes and is now working more intelligently than before.
In fact, in the year 2021, Sachin Pilot along with 18 Congress MLAs had rebelled against the Gehlot government, which created a major political crisis in Rajasthan. However, the matter was later resolved after the intervention of the party leadership. At that time Gehlot had alleged that BJP was trying to topple his government. Recently, during an event in Tonk, Aggarwal, without taking names, called Pilot a ‘fraudster’ and also alleged that he is not a native of Tonk or Rajasthan. There is resentment among Congress leaders regarding this statement.
Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara has strongly condemned Agarwal’s statement. He said that such language is against the decorum of politics and shows the declining political culture of BJP. Dotasara said that it is natural to have differences in politics, but making personal comments is wrong. He demanded from BJP that Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal should apologize for his statement.
