India’s six medals came before the cricket final. Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Bidarsa Vinod won silver in women’s 10m air rifle team event in shooting. Elavenil also got silver in the individual event. Himanshu Dhillon won individual silver, Rudrankash Patil bronze and Indian team silver in men’s 10m air rifle.

Apart from shooting, India’s medals have also come from MMA. Suchika Tarial won bronze in the women’s Traditional -60kg category. As a result, India’s medal tally before the cricket gold was added was six—four silver and two bronze.

In women’s cricket, Pakistan won the bronze medal by defeating Bangladesh by 31 runs in the third place match. Chasing 145 runs, Bangladesh scored 114 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. This bronze is Pakistan’s highest medal so far at the Asian Games 2026.

On the other hand, Bangladesh are yet to win a medal in women’s cricket as they lost to Pakistan in the bronze medal match. Pakistan won the match by 31 runs to secure third place, leaving Bangladesh women’s cricket team to finish fourth.
