Asian Games 2026 Closing Ceremony : Indian trap shooter Neeru Dhanda will be India's female flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the Asian Games. 27-year-old Neeru Dhanda won her third medal (gold) in the trap mixed team event with Kayan Chenai and returned to India the next day. She will return to Nagoya on Saturday morning to lead the Indian contingent at the closing ceremony. “She is returning to Nagoya tomorrow morning to become the female flag bearer. The decision about the male flag bearer will be taken tomorrow,” Deputy Chef de Mission Anjali Bhagwat said on Friday.
Bhagwat was present at the Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium to watch the women's hockey final between India and China. Let us tell you that Neeru has won the gold medal in the women's individual trap event in Nagoya. After this, she along with Manisha Keer and Ashima Ahlawat won the silver medal in the women's team event. A day before the penultimate day of the shooting competition, Neeru along with Chenai won the gold medal in the trap mixed team event.
