Indian men's hockey team has defeated Pakistan 4-3 in a thrilling match of Asian Games. A goal at the last moment ensured India's victory and also secured India's place in the final. The final match will be played on 3 October. On the other hand, the second semi-final match is to be played between Malaysia and South Korea. The winning team of this match will play against India in the final.
Before the start of the last five minutes of play, India and Pakistan were tied at 3-3. Abhishek's goal which came at the last moment gave victory to India. Earlier, Harmanpreet scored 2 goals and Sukhjeet scored one goal to give India a 3-0 lead but Pakistan made a good comeback and brought the score to 3-3. It seemed that the match would go to penalty shootout but Abhishek turned the game by scoring a goal at the last moment.

How did the match go?
Pakistan attacked strongly in the beginning but the Indian team's defense was fine. The goalkeeper also played brilliantly. Neither team could score any goal in quarter 1 and the score remained 0-0. The Indian team was not able to convert many of the penalty corners received in the beginning, but Harmanpreet gave India the first lead by converting the fifth penalty corner.

India's second goal also came through a penalty corner and Harmanpreet Singh once again scored to give the team a 2-2 lead. Pakistan also got a penalty corner opportunity but could not capitalize on it. With the help of two goals in this match, Harmanpreet Singh reached the 10th goal and the Indian team touched the figure of 50 goals. Now after this match the Indian team has scored a total of 53 goals.
