India’s para-athletes marched with the national flag at the closing ceremony of the Asian Para Games 2026 at Paloma Mizuho Stadium in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Friday, wrapping up the country’s most successful campaign at the event. India finished with a record 114 medals: 30 gold, 35 silver and 49 bronze.
Double gold medalist para-shooter Mona Agarwal and athlete Nishad Kumar led the contingent as co-flag-bearers.
