The island moved up four places from last year to lead the ranking, ahead of Fukuoka and Osaka in Japan.
The ranking was based on accommodation searches made by South Korean travelers accompanied by at least one child for stays between November 2026 and January 2027.

Two other Vietnamese destinations, Nha Trang and Da Nang, also made the top 10, ranking fourth and sixth, respectively.
The list further included Tokyo, Okinawa and Sapporo in Japan, Cebu in the Philippines and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
Agoda said Phu Quoc’s appeal to families was supported by the start of its dry season in November, when weather conditions become more favorable for outdoor activities.
Visitors can take island-hopping trips, snorkel, go parasailing or visit night markets, theme parks and safari attractions.
Earlier this year, the island was named Asia’s best island for the second consecutive year in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.
Phu Quoc welcomed 2.1 million international tourists in the first 10 months of 2026, up 59% year-on-year, while total arrivals exceeded 9.2 million, according to local authorities.
