Asim Munir had reached Iran to give Trump's ultimatum, Rezai rebuked him, said – go on your flight

Desk. Iran's new Security Council chief Mohsen Rezai gave a rude welcome to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir upon his arrival in Iran and was then reportedly asked to “return to his plane”. According to the Lebanese newspaper 'Al-Akhbar', Munir presented Rezaei with an ultimatum from US President Donald Trump, demanding that Iran abandon its entire nuclear program.

According to 'Iran International', Munir said that “Tehran needs to show more flexibility in negotiations over its nuclear program.” In response, Iran told Munir that Washington “will have to accept Iran's seven conditions.” Looking at the body language of Rezai and Munir in the video, it seems that there was nothing special in their conversation. Their conversation was brief and formal, and lacked the kind of intimacy that is usually seen in a cordial diplomatic meeting.

  • Rezai's stance remained composed, while Munir was seen leaning towards him during the conversation. Neither handshake nor hug was seen for long in the footage. The Pakistani Army chief also held high-level talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezheshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. Ghalibaf is reported to have told Munir that “Iran has nothing new to say”.

According to the report, Munir told Rezai that he had come with an “ultimate warning” from the US. He further said that if Washington's demands were not met, there could be a “large-scale attack” on Iran's nuclear sites, including the 'Pickaxe Mountain' site.
Iran's security chief Mohsen Rezai had taken a tough stance on Pakistan's Army Chief, who reached Iran regarding Trump's ultimatum, and said, “Not even a single particle of enriched nuclear material will go out of Iran.” He also made it clear that there will be no talks until America establishes trust by fulfilling the 7 conditions already mentioned by Tehran.
