Ather Konarc Launched in Delhi: Price, Battery, Range, Charging Time and Key Features
The electric scooter market in India continues to expand, and Ather Energy has now brought its latest mass-market electric scooter, the Ather Konarc, to Delhi. Built on Ather’s new EL platform, the Konarc is designed around everyday commuting, practical storage, easier servicing and multiple battery options.
The biggest attraction for Delhi buyers is its effective introductory price. The Ather Konarc starts at ₹79,999 in Delhi after the applicable state EV incentive, although this headline price is linked to the entry-level 100-km version, which is scheduled for a later delivery timeline. The 125-km and 161-km variants are the versions currently available to buyers in the city.
Ather Konarc Delhi Price
The Konarc was originally launched in India with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹99,999. Delhi’s EV Policy 2026 provides an incentive of ₹10,000 per kWh for eligible electric two-wheelers during the policy’s first year, subject to a maximum benefit of ₹30,000.
As a result, the effective Delhi price of the entry-level Konarc S 100 is around ₹79,999. The S 125 and S 161 variants have higher effective prices after the subsidy.
Battery and Range
Ather offers the Konarc with different battery capacities depending on the variant. The official specifications list three currently detailed S variants:
- Konarc S 100: 2.1 kWh battery, 100 km IDC range
- Konarc S 125: 2.7 kWh battery, 125 km IDC range
- Konarc S 161: 3.5 kWh battery, 161 km IDC range
Ather also lists a TrueRange figure of 80 km, 100 km and 130 km respectively for these three variants. The scooter has a claimed top speed of 70 km/h.
Charging Time
The Konarc comes with a 450W onboard charger as standard. Depending on the battery size, charging from 0 to 80 percent takes approximately 4 hours for the 100-km variant, 4 hours 30 minutes for the 125-km version and 5 hours 40 minutes for the 161-km model.
Ather also offers an additional 450W combined charging capacity. With this setup, the 0–80 percent charging time drops to around 2 hours, 2 hours 25 minutes and 3 hours 10 minutes, respectively. The 125-km and 161-km versions also get access to the Ather Grid fast-charging network, with up to 15 km of claimed range added in 10 minutes.
Key Features of Ather Konarc
The Konarc focuses heavily on practicality. It gets a metal body with a steel unibody chassis, 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels, long-travel suspension and 31 litres of under-seat storage.
The base S 100 features a 4.2-inch DeepView display, while the S 125 and S 161 receive a larger 7-inch DeepView display. The scooter also gets SmartEco, Eco and Power riding modes, reverse park assist and AutoHold.
Other notable features include an 18W USB Type-C charging option, mobile holder, silent gear drive and Ather’s Advanced Electronic Braking System. Higher variants additionally offer features such as 4G connectivity, OTA updates, remote charging status, tow and theft notifications, Find My Scooter and call and music controls.
Delhi Buyers Get a Major Advantage
Ather already has an established presence in Delhi through its Experience Centres and charging infrastructure. The company has continued expanding its sales and charging network in the capital, making the Konarc’s arrival particularly relevant for urban commuters looking for a more affordable Ather scooter.
With multiple battery options, 31-litre storage, metal construction and a claimed range of up to 161 km for the currently specified S variants, the Konarc is positioned as Ather’s practical electric scooter for everyday city riding. A 200-km version and additional Z variants are also part of the company’s planned Konarc range.
