Before the International Parliament of Religions in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, politics has heated up regarding Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav. Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad (VHRP) has put up huge posters and hoardings at major intersections of the capital and around the official residence of Akhilesh Yadav.
Through these posters, the SP chief has been publicly invited to attend the International Parliament of Religions to be held on October 4. The issue of construction of a grand temple at the birthplace of Shri Krishna in Mathura has been raised prominently on the poster.
In the posters put up in Lucknow, a message addressed to Akhilesh Yadav is written along with the picture of Lord Krishna. It is said in the poster that an International Parliament of Religions is being organized in Lucknow with the resolution of building a grand temple in Mathura.
In the poster, Akhilesh Yadav has been appealed to join the Parliament of Religions and extend his support in favor of the construction of the temple in Mathura. In the same message, reference has also been made to his going among Muslim voters. It is written in big letters below the poster, 'Ayodhya Kashi is just a glimpse, now only Mathura is left.'

Attempt to corner Akhilesh on Mathura issue?
Inviting Akhilesh Yadav through public posters before organizing the Dharma Sansad is being seen as a strategy of the organisers. Through this, an attempt is being seen to create a political debate regarding the position of the SP chief on the Mathura temple issue.
However, this is the initiative of the organizers and the political messages put in the poster are their own. At present, there is no official response from Samajwadi Party on this public invitation and posters.
