Giving clarification on this matter, Ayushmann said, this is part of the script. As an actor you are ready to do anything. This has happened before, it happens in every spy film. But the difference is that this is a spy comedy. This is a patriotic comedy and genre bender film. I always look at the script first. I do whatever the script asks of me. I am the director's actor and he has written a brilliant script.
He further said, 'As an actor, you enjoy when you can show completely different types of chemistry with the same actor, because both the film and your character are different. In one film, I came into his life as Tehelka, whereas in this film I am his wife. It was a wonderful experience for me to have such different chemistry with the same actor. At the same time, Ayushmann also praised Sara and said, 'It is always great to work with Sara. She brings very good energy to the set.
Udaa Teer trailer released on 23 September
Yesterday i.e. on 23rd September, the explosive trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming spy-comedy film 'Udta Teer' has been released. The story of this film is based on a unique and ridiculous twist. In which Ayushmann Khurrana has played a Pakistani spy named 'Bilal Ahmed'. He comes to India on an intelligence mission, but loses his memory in a bomb blast and starts considering himself a true Indian and a Counter-Terrorism Squad (CTS) officer. At the same time, in the trailer, Ayushmann Khurrana's character raises slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' and later gets immersed in the patriotism of India.
Talking about this scene and dialogue, during the trailer launch event, Ayushmann made it clear that as an actor he works completely as per the script and the director's demands, and since it is a spy-comedy with a patriotic twist, this kind of situational comedy is meant to make people laugh.
Udta Teer will be released on October 9
Sara Ali Khan will once again be seen on the big screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in 'Udta Teer'. Earlier, both were seen sharing the screen in the film 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2'. The tremendous chemistry of both is also visible in the trailer. Regarding the film, Sara said, 'I enjoyed working in this film a lot. We shot it before 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2'. This film was good and quite different for me. Talking about the rest of the star cast of the film, actors Mukul Dev, Gulshan Grover, Ram Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Smita Tambe, Brijendra Kala and Sandeep Anand will also be seen in important roles. This film will be released in theaters on 9 October 2026.
