Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ was slow at the box office, Bollywood faded in the storm of South films.

The ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ franchise has already made its place among the audience. Kartik Aaryan’s film, released in the year 2019, was liked a lot by the people and it also earned well at the box office. But this time Ayushmann Khurrana’s film does not seem to be successful in creating the same magic.

The film had an opening of Rs 4 crore on the first day of its release. Its earnings were decent till the initial weekend, but the pace of the film slowed down during the weekdays. According to reports, the film collected around Rs 2.75 crore on the sixth day of its release. With this, the total net earning of the film in India has reached Rs 27 crore.

If we talk about gross collection, the film has so far done a business of around Rs 32.07 crore at the domestic box office. The film has also received some support from the overseas market. The film’s overseas collection is said to be around Rs 5.35 crore. In this way, the total worldwide earning of the film has reached approximately Rs 37.42 crore.

Although these figures cannot be called completely bad, but compared to the level of expectations that were expected from this film, it is not considered a strong performance. Especially considering the record of Ayushmann Khurrana’s previous commercial films, it was expected to perform better at the box office.

If we compare it with Kartik Aryan’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ released in the year 2019, then that film had earned around Rs 50.97 crore in India in just 6 days of its release. At the same time, the worldwide collection of Ayushmann Khurrana’s film has not yet reached Rs 40 crore.

According to reports, the budget of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ is said to be around Rs 50 to 60 crores. In such a situation, the film will still have a long way to go to reach its budget. If the film’s earnings do not pick up in the coming days, its struggle at the box office may increase further.
