Recently he gave such a statement which has created a storm on the entire social media. Anupriya kept her open view regarding prostitution. He described it as a kind of social service and said that this profession has helped in the safety of many women. After this statement, he is facing heavy trolling. People are criticizing him a lot and finding his statement wrong.

During a conversation with Filmy Gyan, Anupriya Goenka said that prostitution is one of the chosen professions. He said that because of this, today common women can roam freely on the streets without any fear. He further said that this profession works like social service to some extent. Anupriya said that many times men have to stay away from home for months or years due to their job or work. In such a situation their physical needs increase. If these needs are not fulfilled then sometimes they go on the wrong path or harass other women.

He said that in such situations, prostitutes become support to these men and help them stay on the right path. In this way this profession also helps in preventing many crimes. Anupriya also added in her statement that many men start wandering here and there due to their physical needs. In such situations, these women support them and help in keeping them balanced. But people did not accept this statement of Anupriya as good.
Social media users wrote that ‘If you cannot solve the problem then you are justifying it by calling it social service. Some users said that prostitution is not a service, rather it becomes a means of forcibly pushing many girls into the swamp. One user wrote that ‘Feelings and humanity cannot be bought with money. Many women also expressed displeasure over this statement and said that such statement encourages prostitution, whereas it is exploitation of women. Some questioned Anupriya whether she herself considered this profession respectable. Anupriya Goenka has been known for her open thinking and bold statements earlier also.
