At present, the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Chandrashekhar Azad in view of his absence during the hearing. Apart from this, an order has also been given to confiscate his property. This case was registered under sections 323 and 305 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

He alleges that he had gone to attend a wedding ceremony organized at Vrindavan Garden in Sahibabad area. During this time, Chandrashekhar Azad had also reached there with his supporters. According to Dharmendra Kumar, he had questioned Chandrashekhar about the weapons he had with him. When Dharmendra asked why he had brought so many weapons, Chandrashekhar reportedly replied, “It is not visible, there are rifles.”

After this conversation, Chandrashekhar Azad, Gulzar Siddiqui, Pankaj Jatav and about 15 unknown people abused and beat him. Dharmendra Kumar had also alleged that he was threatened with death during the incident. Later, Pankaj Jatav's name was removed from this case. A charge sheet has been filed in the case by the police and further hearing on the same is going on in the court.
