Helicopter Service Starting August 4
The Jharkhand government has launched this special initiative to facilitate the lakhs of pilgrims visiting during Sawan. This helicopter service will be operated by the Jharkhand Flying Institute (JFI) as part of an initiative by the Deoghar administration and the state’s Civil Aviation Department.
Aerial View of Baba Baidyanath Dham
Pilgrims will be able to enjoy an aerial view of the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple and the surrounding areas during a 7-to-10-minute helicopter flight. Additionally, aerial viewing of Baba Basukinath Dham will also be provided. The fare for both services has been fixed at ₹2,850 per person.
15-Minute Journey
A one-way helicopter service from Deoghar to Basukinath Dham is commencing on August 4. The fare for this approximately 15-minute journey will be ₹4,500 per person.
Helicopter to Fly with Four Passengers
Captain S.P. Sinha, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Jharkhand Flying Institute, stated that a special 5-seater helicopter has been deployed for this service, accommodating one pilot and four passengers per trip. Helicopter Service Rates
