In this league, Virender Sehwag's son Aryaveer Sehwag is playing for West Delhi Lions. 18 year old Aryaveer has come into limelight in DPL by hitting shots in the style of his father. This video of Aryaveer is from 19th August. On this day his team West Delhi Lions faced New Delhi Tigers. New Delhi Tigers, captained by Himmat Singh, had scored 195 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, in response to which Aryaveer gave an excellent start to West Delhi Lions. He played a short but impactful innings of 22 runs. Aryaveer hit 4 fours during his innings, the video of which is going viral.
After Aryaveer's dismissal, Nitish Rana (50 runs in 23 balls) and captain Ayush Doseja (64 runs in 33 balls) played explosive half-centuries to help West Delhi Lions reach the target 4 balls early.
