A case of sexual exploitation of a 3-year-old girl has come to light in a school campus in Bawana area of Delhi. It is alleged that the school bus driver had been exploiting the girl for several days. The family came to know about the incident after seeing injury marks on the girl's body. The police have registered an FIR in the case under the POCSO Act and arrested the accused bus driver. According to the police, the arrested accused has been identified as 31-year-old Vikas. He is a school bus driver. Police are investigating the matter and information is being collected about the incidents related to the girl.
Family members saw injury marks
According to the police, the victim girl lives with her parents in Bawana area. His family had enrolled him in a school in the area this year. A few days ago, the family members noticed injury marks on the girl's private parts. After questioning and gathering information, they became suspicious of the school bus driver. After this the matter was informed to the police.
Mother saw injury marks while changing clothes
According to the victim's mother, she was changing the girl's clothes on the night of August 19. During this time he noticed injury marks on the private parts of the girl. She immediately informed this to her husband. After this the parents asked the girl about the injury. The girl told that there is a 'bad uncle' in the school, who gives her chocolates. According to the girl, the same person had misbehaved with her. However, she was not in a position to reveal the name of the accused. After listening to the girl, the family informed the school administration about the matter. After this a complaint was given to the police and investigation started. During the investigation, the police interrogated people associated with the school and on the basis of available evidence arrested the accused bus driver Vikas.
The girl recognized the accused after seeing the photo and CCTV footage.
The school principal called the girl and her parents to school on August 24. There the girl was shown photographs of some people. The girl identified the accused bus driver after seeing the picture. After this, the school administration also showed the CCTV footage, after watching which the girl recognized the accused. After this, the school administration informed the police about the incident. Police took action in the case and registered an FIR on behalf of SI Ayushi and arrested the accused bus driver from the school premises. According to the police, the accused had been driving a school bus for about eight months. He used to visit the school premises regularly. Police are now trying to find out if there are any other facts or persons related to the incident.
The behavior of the accused came to light from CCTV
Police investigation has revealed that accused Vikas often roamed around the school premises with chocolates in his pocket. Police seized the mobile phone of accused Vikas and examined it. Some such videos were found in which the accused is seen giving chocolates to small children of the school. On the basis of these videos, the police suspect that the accused may have behaved inappropriately with other children also. At present, the police is contacting the children seen in the video and their families and counseling of the children is being done.
Important clue of the case revealed from CCTV footage
Important information has come to light from CCTV footage in the case of alleged sexual exploitation of an innocent student in a play school located in Jaffrabad, Delhi. After the incident, the victim's family had asked for the old CCTV recording from the school director and principal, but the school administration refused to provide it. After this, on August 25, the school administration took Rs 1,500 and gave the child's parents access to live streaming of CCTV cameras. The family also started watching some old recordings during this time. After getting CCTV access, the child's mother carefully searched the recordings of August 16, 17 and 18. Important scenes related to the incident that allegedly happened to the child were seen in these old footage. After this the family informed the police about the matter.
