The singer has also posted on social media regarding the re-release of his song. In this post, he wrote, My people of Haryana and all my friends from all over the world, in the last few weeks we have heard from government officials, social workers, Women’s Commission and people who care about our culture regarding our song Tatiri. Based on that we have made necessary changes. Any part considered offensive has been removed.

I respect this response and the sentiment behind it. Along with being an artist, our responsibility towards our society and culture is also equally important. For me, music has always been a medium to take the stories of my roots, my language and my people to the big stage. Tatiri is again the next step in this journey. It is your faith that has kept this song alive. Hopefully its new form will carry the same energy and respect. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this conversation. Such conversations make us better. Tatiri will again be available on all platforms. Listen to it, share it and pass it on.
