A political and social controversy has arisen in Balod district of Chhattisgarh over a post made on the social media page of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee. The entire tribal society has expressed strong displeasure over the picture of the tribal Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and the alleged objectionable reference in the post. The representatives of the society terming it as hurting the sentiments of the tribal society, have complained to Balod SP and demanded action.

According to the information received, Sarva Adivasi Samaj has lodged an objection regarding a post shared on the social media page of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee. Representatives of the society allege that the post allegedly used objectionable comments and references along with the photo of the tribal chief minister.

After the post surfaced, resentment is being seen among the people of tribal society. Representatives of the society say that the use of such language and pictures on a public platform is going to hurt the sentiments of the society.
