Balrampur: CM Yogi said- Modern educational facilities including smart classes, digital libraries are being expanded in government schools.

Balrampur: CM Yogi Adityanath participated in the study table and blessing letter distribution program under the 'Flight of Education' initiative in Balrampur on Sunday. On this occasion, the girls participating in the national competition were honored by giving them track suits and mementos. On this occasion, the CM said that modern educational facilities including smart classes, digital libraries are being expanded in the government schools of the state, so that children from every section of the society get quality education and they can ensure their strong participation in building a developed India.

In Balrampur, CM Yogi said, “Today is the first date of Shardiya Navratri. It is the day of worship of Mother Goddess Bhagwati in the form of Shailputri of the mother of the world. It is a wonderful coincidence that today is also International Girls' Day… India has had this belief since ancient times – 'Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devtaah', that is, where women are worshipped, gods and goddesses automatically reside there. Be it a daughter, be it a sister. Or any woman, her safety is our top priority. Mission Shakti Abhiyan is being run in this sequence, the theme of which is – women's safety, respect and self-reliance.”

Referring to the ongoing schemes for girls in the state, he said, “Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the state government provides financial assistance of ₹ 25,000 to daughters from birth to higher education. Along with this, there is a provision of financial assistance of ₹ 1,00,000 for the marriage of eligible daughters under the Mukhyamantri Mass Marriage Scheme.”

CM said, “Under Operation Kayakalp, we have provided funds for better flooring, furniture and other basic facilities in the council schools of the state. Smart classes and digital libraries are being developed. Every year, funds are also being sent to the accounts of parents for two uniforms, bags, books, sweaters and shoes and socks. Today we are working to provide this facility to 1 crore 60 lakh children.”

He said, “We are currently providing ₹ 12,000 annually to 1 crore 10 lakh families through destitute women, old age and disabled people pension. The state government has decided that the amount of house given under the Prime Minister or Chief Minister Awas Yojana will go in the name of the woman head and the owner of the house will also be the same. Ownership rights have been provided to more than 1 crore houses by distributing them in rural areas. Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Veerangana We have examples of many brave women like Avanti Bai Lodhi, Veerangana Uda Devi Pasi and Veerangana Jhalkari Bai, who gave a new direction to the Indian society with their courage and bravery. Taking inspiration from them, many women in independent India have worked to give a new direction to the society with their hard work.
