Bankipur by-election: To contest from PK, BJP candidate withdrew name
A big development was seen in Bihar BJP on Friday. Abhishek Sinha ‘Bunty’, who was made BJP candidate in the by-election in Bankipur, has withdrawn his nomination. Bankipur has become vacant after the resignation of BJP National President Nitin Naveen.

Actually, Abhishek had filed his nomination papers a day earlier. But, after his withdrawal at the right time, a strange situation has arisen in front of BJP. After withdrawal of nomination, BJP immediately made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate from Bankipur.

Last date for nomination is 13th July
BJP on Tuesday declared youth wing leader Abhishek Sinha as its official candidate for the by-election. BJP had also released a list regarding him. The by-election on this seat will be held on July 30 and the counting of votes will be done on August 3. At the same time, the last date for filing nomination is July 13.

Abhishek wrote a letter
After withdrawing the nomination, Abhishek Sinha said in a letter to Bihar BJP President, ‘I express my gratitude to the central and state leadership for making me the NDA candidate in the Bankipur assembly by-election. I would like to humbly request you that I am unable to contest the assembly by-election due to family reasons. However, he said that he will continue to work for BJP as a worker.
