In such a situation, State Bank of India (SBI) has advised its customers to use customer service centers. According to the bank, many important banking tasks can be done at the customer service center even when the bank branches are closed.
These 7 tasks will be done at SBI Customer Service Center
According to the information given by SBI, the facility to open an account is available at the Customer Service Centre. That means, in case the bank branch is closed, customers can use these centers to open a new account.
The facility of depositing and withdrawing money is also available at the customer service centre. Apart from this, customers can check their account balance and get important information related to banking. Services related to fund transfer and bank statements may also be available here.
Passbook update can also be done at the customer service center. Along with making entries in the passbook, customers can also check account related information.
Apart from this, customer service center can also be used for debit card related services. If a person wants to transfer funds to another account then this facility is also available through the Customer Service Centre.
Work related to bill payment can also be done at the customer service center. This means that it will not be necessary to wait for the bank branch to open for important work related to electricity, water or other payments.
Will be able to work through mobile and internet banking also
During the bank strike, customers can use mobile banking and internet banking. Fund transfer, bill payment, balance check and many other services can be completed from the comfort of home through online banking.
Apart from this, along with withdrawing cash through ATM, the facility of depositing cash is also available on some machines. However, the use of ATM and digital banking services will depend on the available facilities and technical condition of the concerned bank.
